10 Things We Waste In Our Life

1. Our Knowledge: Wasted by not taking action with it

2. Our Actions: Wasted by committing them without sincerity.

3. Our Wealth: Wasted by using on things that will not bring us ajr (reward from Allah). We waste our money, our status, our authority, on things which have no benefit in this life or in akhirah (hereafter).

4. Our Hearts: Wasted because they are empty from the love of Allah, and the feeling of longing to go to Him, and a feeling of peace and contentment. In it's place, our hearts are filled with something or someone else
5. Our Bodies: Wasted because we don't use them in ibadah (worship) and service of Allah.

6. Our Love: Our emotional love is misdirected, not towards Allah, but towards something/someone else.

7. Our Time: Wasted, not used properly, to compensate for that which has passed, by doing what is righteous to make up for past deeds.

8. Our Intellect: Wasted on things that are not beneficial, that are detrimental to society and the individual, not in contemplation or reflection.

9. Our Service: Wasted in service of someone who will not bring us closer to Allah, or benefit in dunyaa.

10. Our Dhikr (Remembrence of Allah): Wasted, because it does not effect us or our hearts.

..:: Bersahabat ::..

1. Sahabat Yang Baik
Aku mencintai sahabat-sahabatku dengan segenap jiwa ragaku, seakan-akan aku mencintai sanak saudaraku. Sahabat yang baik adalah yang seiring sejalan denganku dan yang menjaga nama baik ku ketika aku hidup ataupun setelah aku mati. Aku selalu berharap mendapatkan sahabat sejati yang tak luntur baik dalam keadaan suka ataupun duka. Jika itu aku dapatkan, aku berjanji akan selalu setia padanya. Ku hulurkan tangan kepada sahabat-sahabatku untuk berkenalan, kerana aku akan merasa senang. Semakin banyak aku perolehi sahabat, aku semakin percaya diri.

2. Mencari Sahabat di Waktu Susah
Belum pernah ku temukan di dunia ini seorang sahabat yang setia dalam duka. Padahal hidupku sentiasa berputar-putar antara suka dan duka. Kalau duka melanda, aku sering bertanya.... siapakah yang sudi menjadi sahabatku. Dikala aku senang, sudah biasa bahawa banyak orang yang akan iri hati, namun bila giliran aku susah mereka pun bertepuk tangan.

3. Pasang Surut Persahabatan
Aku dapat bergaul secara bebas dengan orang lain ketika nasibku sedang baik. Namun, ketika musibah menimpaku, ku dapatkan mereka tak ubahnya roda zaman yang tak mahu bersahabat dengan keadaan. Jika aku menjauhkan diri dari mereka, mereka mencemuhkanku, dan jika aku sakit, tak seorang pun yang menjengukku. Jika hidupku berlumur kebahagiaan, banyak orang iri hati, jika hidupku berselimut derita mereka bersorak sorai

4. Mengasingkan Diri Lebih Baik Daripada Bergaul Dengan Orang Jahat
Bila tak ku temukan sahabat-sahabat yang taqwa, lebih baik aku hidup menyendiri daripada aku harus bergaul dengan orang-orang jahat. Duduk sendirian untuk beribadah dengan tenang adalah lebih menyenangkanku daripada bersahabat dengan kawan yang mesti ku waspadai.

5. Sukarnya Sahabat Sejati
Tenanglah engkau dalam menghadapi perjalanan zaman ini. Dan bersikaplah seperti seorang paderi dalam menghadapi manusia. Cucilah kedua tanganmu dari zaman tersebut dan dari manusianya. Peliharalah cintamu terhadap mereka, maka kelak kamu akan memperolehi kebaikannya. Sepanjang usiaku yang semakin tua, belum pernah aku temukan di dunia ini sahabat yang sejati. Ku tinggalkan orang-orang bodoh kerana banyak kejelekannya dan ku jauhi orang-orang mulia kerana kebaikannya sedikit.

6. Sahabat Sejati Di Waktu Susah
Kawan yang tak dapat dimanfaatkan ketika susah lebih mendekati musuh daripada sebagai kawan. Tidak ada yang abadi, dan tidak ada kawan yang sejati kecuali yang menolong ketika susah. Sepanjang hidupku aku berjuang keras mencari sahabat sejati sehinggalah pencarianku melenakanku. Ku kunjungi seribu negara, namun tak satu Negara pun yang penduduknya berhati manusia.

7. Rosaknya Keperibadian Seseorang
Dalam diri manusia itu ada dua macam potensi tipuan dan rayuan. Dua hal itu seperti duri jika dipegang dan ibarat bunga jika dipandang. Apabila engkau memerlukan pertolongan mereka, bersikaplah bagai api yang dapat membakar duri-duri itu.

8. Menghormati Orang Lain
Barangsiapa menghormati orang lain, tentulah dia akan dihormati. Begitu juga barangsiapa menghina orang lain, tentulah dia akan dihinakan. Barangsiapa berbuat baik kepada orang lain, baginya satu pahala. Begitu juga barangsiapa berbuat jahat kepada orang lain, baginya seksa yang dahsyat.

9. Menghadapi Musuh
Ketika aku menjadi pemaaf dan tak mempunyai rasa dengki, hatiku lega, jiwaku bebas dari bara permusuhan. Ketika musuhku lewat di hadapanku, aku sentiasa menghormatinya. Semua itu ku lakukan agar aku dapat menjaga diriku dari kejahatan. Aku tampakkan keramahanku, kesopananku, dan rasa persahabatanku kepada orang-orang yang ku benci, sebagaimana ku tampakkan hal itu kepada orang-orang yang ku cintai. Manusia adalah penyakit, dan penyakit itu akan muncul bila kita mendekati mereka. Padahal menjauhi manusia bererti memutuskan persahabatan.

10. Tipu Daya Manusia
Mudah-mudahan anjing-anjing itu dapat bersahabat denganku, kerana bagiku dunia ini sudah hampa dari manusia. Sehina-hinanya anjing, ia masih dapat menunjukkan jalan untuk majikannya yang tersesat, tidak seperti manusia-manusia jahat yang selamanya tak akan memberi petunjuk. Selamatkanlah dirimu, jaga lidahmu baik-baik, tentu kamu akan bahagia walaupun kamu terpaksa hidup sendiri.

11. Tempat Menggantungkan Harapan
Apabila engkau menginginkan kemuliaan orang-orang yang mulia, maka dekatilah orang yang sedang membangun rumah untuk Allah. Hanya orang yang berjiwa mulia yang dapat menjaga nama baik dirinya, dan selalu menghormati tamunya, baik ketika hidup mahupun setelah mati.

12. Menjaga Nama Baik
Jika seseorang tak dapat menjaga nama baiknya kecuali dalam keadaan terpaksa, maka tinggalkanlah dia dan jangan bersikap belas kasihan kepadanya. Banyak orang lain yang dapat menjadi penggantinya. Berpisah dengannya bererti istirehat. Dalam hati masih ada kesabaran buat sang kekasih, meskipun memerlukan daya usaha yang keras. Tak semua orang yang engkau cintai, mencintaimu, dan sikap ramahmu kadangkala dibalas dengan sikap tak sopan. Jika cinta suci tak datang dari tabiatnya, maka tak ada gunanya cinta yang dibuat-buat. Tidak baik bersahabat dengan pengkhianat kerana dia akan mencampakkan cinta setelah dicintai. Dia akan memungkiri jalinan cinta yang telah terbentuk dan akan menampakkan hal-hal yang kelmarin menjadi rahsia. Selamat tinggal dunia jika atasnya tidak lagi ada sahabat yang jujur dan menepati janji.

A is for Allah
Lord of the Universe, who is One,
He made the earth, stars, and sun
He made angels to worship and pray,
He made man from a dab of clay.

B is for Bilal
Bilal is that tall, brave African man,
Islam freed him and gave him iman
Calling the Muslims to come and pray,
Was his duty each night and day.
C is for Children
Black, white, red, yellow, and brown,
Better than the jewels in a crown
Laughing or crying, short or tall,
Allah loves children, one and all.

D is for Du'a
Remembering Allah all nights and days,
By giving Him our thanks and praise
Thank Allah with "Al-Hamdulillah"
And praise Him with "Subhanallah."

E is for Earth
With its mountains, rivers, and seas,
Animals, birds, fruits, and trees
They all declare Allah's Might,
Following His laws, wills, and light.

F is for Faith
That which the Muslims call Iman,
Is in the heart of the believing man
Will come from his lip and hand,
Love for Allah pouring out like sand.

G is for Gabriel
An angel(called Jibraeel in Islam) created by Allah from light,
His duty is to serve Allah all day and night
To Prophet Muhammad (S) he did appear,
To bring mankind the Holy Qur'an so dear.

H is for Heaven
God's garden of joy, peace, and love,
The home for Muslim's souls above
The path to this heavenly place
Is faith in Allah's guidance and grace.

I is for Islam
A way of life for all of who,
Give to Allah the praise that is due
We worship and pray five times a day,
Because we know it is the best way.

J is for Jesus
Peace be upon him, 'Isa, the son of Maryam,
To his people Allah's word did he carry
By Allah's help he made the sick well,
So people would believe what he had to tell.

K is for Ka'bah
First house of Allah in Makkah was made,
By Ibrahim and Isma'il the stones were laid
Millions of believers from every race,
Come for Hajj tot his extra special place.

L is for Life
A precious gift from Allah to you,
Don't waste it, he knows what you do
Don't chase pleasure or forget Allah,
No matter how little, say "Al-Hamdulillah.

M is for Muhammad
Peace be upon him, Abdullah's son,
From Allah's enemies he did not run
Of all the Prophets he was the last,
Islam his message which we hold fast.

N is for Nuh
Peace be upon him, a Prophet who was very good,
Allah told him to build an ark, fast as he could
Take pairs of animals and the believers-all,
The flood was coming and the waves would be tall!

O is for Obedience
It is the duty of each Muslim to obey,
The Qur'an and the Sunnah all the way
Go for Hajj, give Zakah, fast, and pray,
And to your parents do not say, "Nay!"

P is for Prayer
It is the cornerstone of Muslim life,
And the devil it cuts like a knife
Prayer five times a day is a must,
In Allah you should put your trust.

Q is for Qur'an
A blessing and guide for all of mankind,
In it Allah's message you will find
Of all His messages it is the last,
Perfect for present, future, and past.

R is for Ramadan
For Muslims this blessed month of fasting,
Is to celebrate Allah's love everlasting
All day, no food, nor drink, nor evil deeds,
Pray and read Qur'an, to heaven this leads.

S is for Surah
One hundred and fourteen in the Qur'an,
Read them and trust in Al-Rahman,
Do you know ten of them that you can say?
Knowing them will help you pray.

T is for Tawheed
La ilaaha illallah, Allah is the only one,
There is no partner with Him, nor son
Allah is the answer to all that we need,
Watch your heart and tongue, He knows every deed.

U is for Ummah
The Muslim community which Muhammad (S) found,
The brotherhood of Islam made it sound
Allah's laws in the Qur'an and Sunnah,
Are to help everyone in the Ummah.

V is for Victory
It is the help from Allah to you,
His guidance in everything you do
Work and prayer a Muslim does need,
To celebrate Allah's victory, indeed!

W is for Wudhu'
We must keep our minds and bodies clean,
Because by Allah we are always seen
Whenever you hear the call of athan,
Prepare and come pray as soon as you can.

X is for ......
X is not easy for us to rhyme,
So we'll not waste much of your time
In higher math X is hard to find,
But Allah's path is clear even to the blind.

Y is for Yunus
Peace be upon him, a good man in a wicked town,
He ran to the sea and a whale gobbled him down
By the mercy of Allah he was saved to tell,
His people to become good and obey Allah well.

Z is for Zero-sin
It is the way we each begin,
Free from wordly sin
So, don't let yourself forget,
Keep out of the devil's threat!

KAWAN sejati ialah orang yang mencintaimu meskipun telah mengenalmu dengan
sebenar-benarnya iaitu baik atau burukmu.

HATI yang terluka umpama besi bengkok walau diketuk sukar kembali kepada bentuk asalnya.

ORANG-ORANG yang paling berbahagia tidak selalu memiliki hal-hal terbaik, mereka hanya berusaha menjadikan yang terbaik dari setiap hal yang hadir dalam hidupnya.

SAHABAT yang setia bagai pewangi yang mengharumkan.
SAHABAT sejati menjadi pendorong impian.
SAHABAT berhati mulia membawa kita ke jalan Allah.

KASIHKAN manusia lepaskan dia kepada pilihan dan keputusannya kerana disitu
tanda kita gembira melihat insan yang kita sayangi beroleh bahagia.

KEMAAFAN mungkin amat berat untuk diberikan kepada orang yang pernah melukai hati kita. Tetapi hanya dengan memberi kemaafan sahajalah kita akan dapat mengubati hati yang telah terluka. Kemaafan yang di beri secara ikhlas umpama pisau bedah yang boleh membuang segala parut luka emosi

Tips: How To Be a Successful Muslim Wife

If you don't understand any of these, I invite you to a meaningful, enlightening dialogue to dispel any doubts. Please do e-mail me. Please do not carry around with you wrong impressions. Wrong impressions can be and have been fatal.

1. Use your 'Fitnah' (beauty and overtures of allurement) to win the heart of your husband.

All women have the ornaments that Allah blessed them with. Use the beauty Allah - Azza wa Jal - has bestowed you with to win the heart of your husband.

2. When your husband comes home, greet him with a wonderful greeting.

Imagine your husband coming home to a clean house, an exquisitely dressed wife, a dinner prepared with care, children clean and sweet smelling, a clean bedroom - what would this do to his love for you? Now imagine what the opposite does to him.

3. Review the characteristics of the Hoor Al-Ayn and try to imitate them.

The Qur'an and Sunnah describe the women in Jannah with certain characteristics. Such as the silk they wear, their large dark eyes, their singing to their husband, etc. Try it, wear silk for your husband, put Kohl in your eyes to 'enlarge' them, and sing to your husband.

4. Always wear jewellery and dress up in the house.

From the early years, little girls have adorned themselves with earrings and bracelets and worn pretty dresses - as described in the Qur'an. As a wife, continue to use the jewellery that you have and the pretty dresses for your husband.

5. Joke and play games with your husband.

A mans secret: they seek women who are light-hearted and have a sense of humour. As Rasul Allah - sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam - told Jabir to marry someone who would make him laugh and he would make her laugh.

6. Thank your husband constantly for the nice things he does. Then thank him again.

This is one of the most important techniques, as the opposite is a characteristic of the women of hellfire.

7. An argument is a fire in the house. Extinguish it with a simple 'I'm sorry' even if it is not your fault.

When you fight back, you are only adding wood to the fire. Watch how sweetly an argument will end when you just say sincerely, "Look, I'm sorry. Let's be friends."

8. Always seek to please your husband, for he is your key to Jannah.

Rasul Allah - sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam - taught us that any women who dies in a state where her husband is pleased with her, shall enter Jannah. So .. please him.

9. Listen and Obey!

Obeying your husband is Fard! Your husband is the Ameer of the household. Give him that right and respect.

10. Make Dua to Allah to make your marriage and relationship successful.

All good things are from Allah. Never forget to ask Allah ta'ala for the blessing of having a successful marriage that begins in this Dunya and continues on - by the Mercy of Allah ta'ala - into Jannah.


For attractive lips, Speak words of kindness.

For lovely eyes, Seek out the good in people.

For a slim figure, Share your food with the hungry.

For beautiful hair,

Let a child run his or her fingers through it once a day.

For poise, Walk with the knowledge you'll never walk alone.

People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and redeemed; Never throw out anybody.


Remember, If you ever need a helping hand,

you'll find one at the end of your arm.

As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands,

one for helping yourself, the other for helping others.

The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears,

The figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair.

The beauty of a woman must be seen from in her eyes,

because that is the doorway to her heart,

the place where love resides.

The beauty of a woman is not in a facial mole,

but true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul.

It is the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows,

And the beauty of a woman with passing years-only grows . . .
